Sink or Not Swim
A mermaid comic. Panel 1: A light skinned brunette woman who is standing next a tan skinned, blonde haired woman. The brunette is yelling at a mermaid who is clinging to a rock in the ocean. The woman yells, "Swim to shore Sally! We are here to help you!" The mermaid replies, "NEVER!" "Is the call of the sea that strong?" asks the brunette whose name is Ophelia. Sally responds, "What? No! Gross!" "Then why?" "It-it's because..." Panel 2: The mermaid with tears in her eyes and losing her grip on the rock, shouts, "I can't swiiiim!" Panel 3: The mermaid falls into the water making a big splash. Panel 4: The blonde haired woman with her arms crossed says, "The tide will wash her to shore." Ophelia looks doubtful. Panel 5: Ophelia asks, "She can breath underwater right?" and the blonde responds with, "Probably yeah." Panel 6: They both stand in silence for a minute. Panel 7: The blonde puts a finger up to her mouth and asks, "You think she knows that?" Ophelia looks horrified. Panel 8: Ophelia starts dashing into the ocean, shouting, "We are coming to save you Sally!" The blond sighs and follows behind slowly.

Delphi and Ophelia finally found Sally!

So Pomegranate made a little cameo in @shooshell.com’s webcomic “The Sweetness of Salt” (go read it if you haven’t) and I couldn’t help myself but make a little side comic of what happens next.

Also the “unicorn” was a rhinoceros.

I had to get these sketches out of my system so I can continue playing.
