He probably started to struggle before going down “the rat hole”. Extremely bright,introverted, and declining in function as he entered early adulthood. In the future, neuroscience will have a better explanation for his progression to demise than just his cultural background.

Even if it were a "left wing radical" there should be push back because radical hate, mired in conspiracy and delusion, tethered to poor overall emotional and interpersonal functioning is a red flag for all of us.

And Autism isn’t an “it” diagnosis. Autism spectrum disorder encompasses a large number of behavioral endophenotypes that will have hundreds of genetic variables as potential and definitive contributors in the future. There will be many “causes”.

RFK should be demanded to be part of an infectious disease mini rounds, at any teaching hospital, just to hear his logic and understanding when health care providers attempt to mitigate morbidity and stave off death daily.

This is important work, but if our country provided the current evidenced based care, especially in regards to non-pharmacological therapies, to the majority with "mental illness", which will include almost all of us at some point in our lives, we'd go bankrupt. The cuts to research are crippling.

There's also the component that "mental illness" and tendencies towards "periods" of emotional health struggle, are not clear demarcated lines. Many individuals "without" MI can have inherent predispositions to misinterpreting what they experience at various times. Social Media AI banks on this.

The top of the prospective Democrat pool, whom may run in 2028, is probably some of the best talent we've had in some time. I only hope that their natural capacities to relay understanding of complex issues doesn't get diminished by the consultant "messaging" class.

Science is usually data driven but in today's age anyone can "interpret" the data differently. I would like to know what data he used, for example, to terminate the vaccine advisory board. I'd like to know how he analyzes information and can he understand why most physicians would be concerned.

When did the current president's inner circle know that his periods of extreme irritability/agitation, grandiosity, and extreme paranoid tendencies, along with repeated sleep disturbances were negatively impacting his cognitive capacities? They knew, but didn't tell the American people the truth.

"obsession" may not be the right word. He is easily prone to delusional (fixed false belief) thinking. He has indirectly spoken of his mental illness tendencies for many years. He said that people shouldn't take their medical advice from him; quite a telling statement.
