Dead Estate: Many hours (70!) of fun and entertainment. The final update came out in 2024, so it's finally complete. The new Steam thumbnail does sort of spoil the surprise that the cast of characters is larger than it first appears, though

GotY 2024: Dungeon Munchies. No contest. Unfortunately, the gameplay is just fine, and it is definitely not optimized for controllers. But the storytelling in this goes so much harder than anyone could possibly expect that I fell in love with it

Wait, I remembered Legoland! I put a ton of hours into this as a kid. It involves a time traveller collecting attractions for you. It's probably not as good as either Pac-Man: Adventures in Time or I Spy: Treasure Island. Just a theme park management simulation with a LEGO theme iirc

Wait, I remembered Legoland! I put a ton of hours into this as a kid. It involves a time traveller collecting attractions for you. It's probably not as good as either Pac-Man: Adventures in Time or I Spy: Treasure Island. Just a theme park management simulation with a LEGO theme iirc
...maybe one of these...? I've never seen or heard anybody mention them, ever, besides me. But also they're both tied to famous properties, so maybe I'm underestimating them...

I recently played Automaton Lung, the 3DS open-world Metroidvania-y video game. But I did it on PC since it's easier than getting the 3DS out again. Also I don't think you can download games from the 3DS shop anymore
