Bruce & I went a different way on our walk. A poodle appeared out of nowhere barking and being scary. It was tied out, so no harm no foul, but I almost jumped out of my boots. Bruce didn't care.

It's so cold. Bruce & I went on a walk, but he was shivering. Don't worry, it was a very short walk and he is cozy now.

I unclogged the sink!! This happened at 5am because I couldn't sleep thinking about it. My right index finger is very sore from feeding the auger down the drain. But the sink is draining and that's what matters..

Today I clogged my bathroom sink so much that the clog is somewhere in the basement. Which is inconvenient.

Got my covid jab yesterday. I don't feel sick and my arm isn't sore, but I also can't bring myself to fold my laundry. It's also too cold for a walk. At least Bruce agrees with that last part.

Bruce woke up. He's rooting for the Bichon Frise. Though he has a soft spot for the Cairn Terrier.

Happy Thanksgiving. Happy Dog Show! The Boston Terrier showed well and came in 4th. I kept Bruce apprised, but he kept sleeping.

I am cleaning up Hutch's things. I gave my neighbor a few cans of Friskies. He was very kind. He gave me a hug. I packed the rest up to give to my cat sisters. Mom says they'll eat it, but I thought they were picky. The litter box is going to have to wait.

Bruce went in an uber today. That was an adventure I don't think he expected to have. Ever. But I am impressed with how good he was. He's a good guy, is our Bruce.

Today I came home from lunch and found that Hutch had passed over the rainbow bridge. My heart is in tatters. I have no idea what happened to her. I loved her so much. She was fine. It makes no sense. She has been laid to rest in my parents' backyard.

A random Todd Snider memory that I just had-in a club in Cleveland. He was fresh out of rehab and in between labels. That night the crowd was so small he offered to buy everyone in the club a beer. I don't think he actually did it. But he did give me a hug.

Asked Google to Play a Train Song. It didn't. Maybe that's good. I'm not ready to listen to Todd Snider just yet. One day his words will play in my kitchen again. Not today. Rest in peace old friend. I hope that you and all your friends are finally together at that great jam session in the sky.

It's also worth noting, my sister gave up on the Quantum Leap reboot just as quickly for the exact same reason.

apparently it's been 4 years since Dean Stockwell passed. I dipped on the QL reboot in 1 episode because the hologram sucked. There is only one hologram, and that is Al. And there is only 1 scene that kept me awake and terrified and that was Dean Stockwell in Blue Velvet.

Bruce & I are well. We started our 30 days of walks for American Cancer Society fundraiser today. Hutch continues to live her best life. The Springsteen biopic depressed me. But I think I liked it. Still not sure. Hope you all are well.

Dr gave me an inhaler to use when I have coughing fits. It really helps but what would help even more is if the cough cleared up. I'm not feeling so sickly today and even went on a walk with Bruce.

I am sick and have a Dr appointment soon. My parents dropped off groceries. I went to meet them and help. "Don't you come out here!!" Mom yelled. Bruce didn't listen and slipped outside to say hi. He probably would have left with them!
