I hear ya! But My Brilliant Friend is Italian with subtitles and Kath and Kim is Australian. That one is a mockumentory type thing and we find it hysterical. 😂

I think My Brilliant Friend was shown on HBO in the US. The books are really good, too. The other two can be an acquired taste but both Ed and I love them. Dead Like Me is also one of our go to’s. Wish they had made more series of that.

My current go to is My Brilliant Friend. I have watched series 1 through 3 at least four times, and just started the final series. I'm obsessed. Then the old standbys, The Office , and Kath and Kim. We watch The Office in the hotels when we are in the States. K & K is the gift that keeps on giving,
