Realistic progressive (usually). "We have seen the enemy and he is us." Pogo (by Walt Kelly). I do stuff for London Greens, GPO & GPC.
I suppose it would help the Scottish independence movement if Reform UK won the next election?

Since he can't speak French Ford has no hope of being PM.

The Nordic countries seem to manage as does Germany. Even The Netherlands eventually forms a government.

Then the rest of you should take action to ensure that Farage isn't the next PM.

But until that happens you need to get involved to do what you can to defeat Farage & Reform UK.

Beer is the same price because the customers in urban areas are in effect subsidizing those in rural areas. The NDP is going nowhere in any case, bold platform or not.

Ibbitson is way off base in claiming that AB is not fairly represented in Ottawa or Canada overall. It has a fair share of seats in Parliament (the Atlantic provinces are overrepresented, though). Also with Canada being among the most decentralized countries, AB has much control over various areas.

I don't think that GAC will be building new embassies for a while. Talk now is of co-locating with friendly countries and reducing presence abroad other than for trade promotion.

In my city each speaker gets 5 minutes. If that's the limit in Vancouver, then you'll have to wait nearly 51 hours for your turn!

The provincial governments legislated themselves a monopoly on the liquor store and auto insurance services. For alcohol that has changed now at least in Ontario. Grocery co-ops have succeeded in Western Canada but not in Ontario. Regardless they are not the same as being publicly owned.
