We've had this nasty flu for a few weeks but I'm starting to feel energy again. Here's my jumper I'm in the process of making. It's salvaged fine-wale corduroy and I love the vibrancy. I'm trying to be bold to wear it-turned 73 this week.

Haven't been out much lately but did accomplish some homemade herb-Parmesan croutons, composite butter w garlic and garden grown rosemary, and finally sewed a rib knit top for my daughter for work.

New Year's resolution-to finish or re make past failed creations. I sewed this wool coat about two years ago. All it needed was some hand stitching on the neck. I love it.

Our housekeeper comes today so Missy is cuddled next to me-she's shuddering with fear. We hide in the craft room and I get lots done but she is in terror of the lady with the mop.

Best part of our winter trip was being warm while it stormed outside and listening to Bob play guitar while I knit. Once I get that majority of unpacking done, I'll have more posts-great to be home but I hate the piles of laundry and bags of food, crafts, etc to resettle here.

Missy has to walk around to find the perfect soft piece of grass (or carpet) to find the perfect place for her business even if it's dark, raining and stormy.

All the things I sewed or fixed this year. I had forgotten so many. I got more done than I thought. Sewing is weird because I can make something exactly as the pattern says but have it not fit right! Bodies have unique contours!
