So true! On my Sony XM5 (overear) it's better than it was on XM4, but still crap.
Can only switch using the app. Can't assign switching to the single button the tech gods allowed. Or use a gesture, like the two-finger hold that toggles the ambient-when-talking.
But XM4 couldn't switch at all.
