This is the most cringeworthy material I've probably seen. Steve Witkoff couldn't probably name other Nobel prize winner except maybe Obama. And the applause at the end - a true North Korean moment for the US Government. All this amidst a genocide in Gaza for which Trump is co-responsible.

A sitting U.S. president hosting an ICC-wanted war criminal and his cronies in the midst of a genocidal war he launched in Europe. It's a gruesome circus.

I saw a number of these pretty "whataboutism" billboards hanging around Los Angeles recently - a reminder of how shameless the narrative around Israel has been and how effective, that will all the crimes committed Israel has been still portrayed as a civilised country.

Yesterday, Hamdan Ballal, the co-director of the gut wrenching, Oscar-winning documentary No Other Land was beaten by violent Israeli settlers and detained by the IDF in the West Bank. Reports say he was cuffed and beaten during the night spent at the police station and released only hours ago.

Just two days ago Donald Tusk said that "Europe urgently needs its own plan of action concerning Ukraine and our security". Today he's rejecting the idea of a joint European peacekeeping force. Yet had no problem in sending troops to Afghanistan where Poland had no security interests to protect.
