Here in Santa Rosa, CA the atmospheric river continues. So far we’ve had 7” of rain with more pouring down as I type this. It’s predicted to last for several more days. The photo is of my flooded backyard (no damage to my house, thankfully).

This long-nosed butterfly fish is the source of my nickname on Namoluk Atoll, Federated States of Micronesia. Many anthropologists obtain nicknames during their research, often for memorable behavior.
