Having a 3D scan of your own head is super valuable for this type of thing! I used it to design a mask for my wedding on Halloween and it was extra useful to navigate around my glasses

SKIL didn’t have to do this, but their newer USB-C charging batteries will also happily output power to a 100W pencil soldering iron at full draw setting. Even the “100W” wall adapter that came with the iron will only do 64W.

I had purchased a signed copy of Open Circuits at EMSL’s yard sale when they changed careers and moved to the East Coast. It was fascinating to finally see inside the chip Macetech used for the original ChronoDot, seen here with a couple slightly newer variants.
