My most successful horror game was when i set a strict time for each encounter. The players would be (slowly) mulling over the death of one NPC when screams began from other end of the house. The fire started whilst they were in the attic. Oh dear 😂

I once wrote an essay on how I'd been persecuted through the UKs family court system. I wrote it in second person, a few people said it came across as harrowing for them.

My first ever game was D&D in high school. I wasn't sure about it. 6 months later played Traveller (Sci Fi was) more my thing. Another 6 months started AD&D and got on with it okay.
Still love both, but dont play either, although I use Traveller resources such as the world builder in other games.
