Swiss Expat married to a Brit, Aspie, ADHD, 3d Artist, retired Knitter, Crafter (with ever changing hobbies, I blame ADHD), enjoying the cool weather up North.
Pfizer invested and then bought a Swiss company Schneider, Dr Schneider invented stents and had several patents to his name. Pfizer knew the Swiss are efficient and precise workers and that's why the production stayed in Switzerland. Whoever bought it off Pfizer just wanted the patents.

FIFA needs dismantling and started afresh. No idea if you want to do that with the USA. 😂
July 16, 2025 at 11:17 AM
Well, there are 2 ways they do it 1) the team who wins a tournament can keep the original until the next tournament and then gets a replica or 2) they are given the original when they lift the trophy, hand it back and go home with a replica. FIFA usually keeps theirs at their headquarter.

Not a good day for the Swiss though, isn't it. They will be losing their jobs. I remember when Pfizer sold a company I used to work for to another US company and they pulled the plug. 400 jobs lost. I am not very sympathetic with the US, never have been. Backstabbers.

They were sentenced according to the law.
"For criminal damage exceeding £5,000, the maximum sentence is 10 years' imprisonment if tried in the Crown Court."
July 16, 2025 at 10:29 AM
Is it really? One of them is a serial offender, the other is a mindless follower. You think a slap on the wrist would have had the right effect? I doubt it. For criminal damage exceeding £5,000, the maximum sentence is 10 years' imprisonment if tried in the Crown Court.

They have finally realised it was all lies!
June 22, 2025 at 11:11 PM
And who's going to get richer through this??
But leaving disabled people in the dump. When will we have a government that actually looks after their people and stops grovelling up to oligarchs?
June 22, 2025 at 11:04 PM
And ours?????
June 22, 2025 at 10:58 PM
Do you think they are shitting themselves because a) Labour was responsible for creating IPP sentences and b) are in fear they would have to pay millions of compensations for those who wrongfully have sat in prison for years and years but only were supposed to be there for a few months?
June 22, 2025 at 10:53 PM
My husband loves (sarcasm) the Tory so much for the same reason. They treat us as if we all became disabled on purpose.
I had to go to the shop across the road. It's just a short walk and the pain was excruciating. If I could I would want them to suffer my pain for a few weeks, maybe they learn.

Is Labour really that thick all of a sudden? It just boggles my mind. Recruit from a pool of workers that came here to do totally different jobs. Are we going to have bricklayers now caring for your granny? We want people who want to do this job not people being forced to do it.
May 11, 2025 at 11:33 PM
When people understand this picture then they understand what needs to be done. Protest loudly! Not quietly at home. No riots!! That's counter productive. Protests!
You are ruled by oligarchs that don't contribute. Enough is enough!

So, I say it again, the people are disillusioned with Labour and that's what the result was. The Tory are done and dusted.
And if our chancellor carries on talking like a toffee nosed Tory, then it's no wonder people run away from Labour. Workers don't talk like that. She's talking down on us.
May 3, 2025 at 9:30 AM
And the same with PIP. I know many who should qualify but don't get it. My husband and I should but we won't even bother because of what he went through to get his ESA back again. NOBODY with a chronic condition is suddenly 100% fine. Not happening. The % of fine gets smaller and smaller.
May 3, 2025 at 9:26 AM
So you see people are desperate losing fuel allowance has put some in food poverty, because they just don't get that when you are getting older you need a steady temperature in your home and of course you use more gas or electric. And having lost bus routes means taxi and taxis aren't free.
May 3, 2025 at 9:22 AM
-Water/Wastewater = companies in debt no modernisation
-Gas/Electricity = plenty have gone bust = job losses
-Public transport = too expensive, important routes closed
-NHS semi privatisation = has done nothing to stop or shorten waiting times and the quality dropped.
There is probably more.
May 3, 2025 at 9:19 AM
This Labour government hasn't got a clue that saving money everywhere is like shooting themselves in the foot and all the councils on top. Investing in people brings income. Starving people starves the government. And it all stared with privatising everything. A list will follow.
May 3, 2025 at 9:15 AM
This result has probably less to do with people moving to the extreme right but more about a protest vote against Labour. Labour is parroting policies that the Tory started old Labour would have NEVER carried on. Labour was supporting workers and the vulnerable. This new Labour kicks them all.

I just blasted the Richter scale to smithereens I’m that disgusted with the UK Labour Party front benchers. Fingers crossed the back benchers will rebel.
