SNAP was already cut last summer by $400 Billion as part of the R Big Budget Bill of $3.7 Trillion, only it was not slated to take affect until AFTER the 2026 Congressional Midterm elections. The shutdown has only exposed it and pronounced it to the Public unaware it was already cut.
