Final grades submitted! First semester at the University of Scranton is complete! Plenty to do this break, but taking a moment to celebrate.
Incredibly busy and blessed today. First, I received my copy of the Research Handbook on Judicial Politics. I coauthored a chapter on judicial decision-making on lower federal courts. Next, I received notice that a paper I coauthored was accepted.

Incredibly busy and blessed today. First, I received my copy of the Research Handbook on Judicial Politics. I coauthored a chapter on judicial decision-making on lower federal courts. Next, I received notice that a paper I coauthored was accepted.
Today, I began my journey as a professor with the Political Science Department at the University of Scranton. The students and my colleagues have already shown themselves to be wonderful and thoughtful. Looking forward to the next few decades of this!

In a bit of personal news, I will join the University of Scranton as a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Political Science starting in August 2024. It is a wonderful department and institution where I can flourish as a teacher and scholar and was the best option for the family.

In a bit of personal news, I will join the University of Scranton as a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Political Science starting in August 2024. It is a wonderful department and institution where I can flourish as a teacher and scholar and was the best option for the family.
I am ready to dive into pre-law advising for the day with yet another packed schedule of appointments.
