Nonsense. Energy costs in the UK and especially Scotland are the highest in Europe.

I don't believe it cut anything from the bills due to the way pricing works. Electricity is bought from suppliers at a single unit price per GWH. That price is set by the cost of generation by gas, the most expensive way. So someone is making profit, but we are not saving diddly squat.
