Scott, I posted this photo of the upper stage which was off their feed. That metal petal was flapping in the breeze (at 4500 km/h). The fairing may have peeled open like a banana.

Note that the date of the Anschluss coincided with the loss of Teruel in Spain and the beginning of a huge fascist push to divide Spain.

This is why students of the Spanish Civil War cannot separate those battles from World War II. Same war, different venue.

Canadians need to study mid-1900's history at this moment.
