My 17-year-old hangs out with his friends in DC all the time too. He’s never had a problem and I never thought twice about letting him go there.

Also, people who convert from being a contractor to a FTE or Public Health Service to civilian all have probationary periods, even if they are doing the exact same jobs they were doing for decades.
