if you want artists to make weirder art, you have to create stable living conditions that allow them to. homogeneity isn't a matter of artists lacking culture-- there are many soulful artists out there-- it's a matter of unregulated corporate dominance combined with artists who cant afford to create

/vent. I don't commission artists often, yet the majority of my experience full of non-communication. I always have to be the one running for check ups. I specifically commission artists who post lots of finished commissions too. Is 3 weeks of silence normal?? I don't even want WIPs just an update 😭
