Im not anti-tech, but its all a tool. If you have a tool that wastes resources, while doing something that a human could(or should) do (art, teaching, cooking, therapy) its a bad tool and it makes the world more hostile for everyone.

Why do i feel like my entire life has been upended for the ego-project of a senile lunatic?

This is the financial reality of a college educated person working in tech btw. I cant even imagine life without the help ive gotten from my mom.
