I saw this little bird while hiking yesterday. It couldn’t fly and was sitting on the ground
It’s likely a fledgling, which is normal at this stage. Unless it’s in danger or clearly injured, the best thing to do is leave it where it is - its parents are usually nearby and will keep feeding it.
