A nice and normal seasonal build.

Felt the urge to create a little pumpkin patch after finding a bag of little pumpkin-looking seeds or something.

continuing the spooky season tally with:

Bring Her Back

O my what a hard watch. I've watched lots of messed up movies, but kids being physically and mentally abused is something else.

I do think it's a really good movie about manipulation, loss and trauma. Just be warned it's quite heavy.

PLAYERS was amazing, even if you don't understand anything about League of Legends. Goofy and heartfelt, clearly made for the love of the game.

Moloch

Could a family curse have anything to do with these recently exhumed bog bodies?
Moloch is athmospheric Dutch paganism, at times a little complex for it's own good but overall a great addition to Dutch horror.

Very nice and wet/muddy autumn morning bike ride.

That Which Gave Chase

A moody and atmospheric trip on dog sled through a spooky snow-covered land.

Bloody Axe Wound

What if your family is in the slasher business?
Cute idea, has heart, but a tad too slow.

Typical Dutch day, taking the bike to go to a windmill to get some flower.

Hollowbody

A very atmospheric slow burn. Hollowbody wears its Silent Hill inspiration on its sleeve, and actually manages to stand on its own.
Lovely art, lovely music and quite poetic.

Oddity

Weird and creepy. Suspense done absolutely brilliantly.

In A Violent Nature

Slow, nasty, boring and beautiful. It's an acquired taste, but there's so much to love about this unique take on classic slasher films. Probably my favourite movie of 2024.

CROWDED. FOLLOWED.

This game got me pretty stressed out, and I was happy to finally board that ferry. Great short experience with awesome music by Chipzel.

Home Safety Hotline

Chill & creepy analog horror. Windows 95 help desk vibes, learn about all manner of creepy crawlies, with a lovely ending to boot.

The chemtrails are quite beautiful this morning.

Butterfly Kisses

I'm a sucker for found footage films, especially when it's a found footage film about found footage films 🙃

Smile 2

What a ride. Start to finish great movie with an ending that'll leave you smiling for days.

Until Dawn

Cleverly tells a different story than the game, still in the same universe. Very enjoyable.

Spooktober tally!

28 Years Later

Not what I expected and pleasantly surprised by the small, emotionally driven story.

I often pass these remnants of oppression. Eroded into the landscape, their function almost forgotten.

Sadly, it's not hard to imagine the hate that built them.

Lets make sure they stay buried, artworks, a pigsty.

From now on I'll always strap a hammock to the bike. Super nice for a quick rest anywhere (near trees).

I've recently acquired a label printer and it's a great way to make quick n dirty pixelart stickers 🐸
