They were not doing anything with any substance so it’s hard to see what exactly they would be ‘abandoning’.

Trump is known to not read. So those big signatures — under executive orders — are not things he read or comprehends.

We’re handling Trump like a cosplay: pretending the 80-yo is a great dealmaker instead of an economic illiterate. People coming to his court to kiss the ring & beg for his mercy.

As a bald guy I 💯 approve this message 😁

If you remove Trump you get this suicide pill.

In Europe we are supposed to be calling Trump to kiss the ring and ‘have talks’. What CNN does not mention is you can’t play chess with a penguin 🐧 👇

Trump “ready to talk”

@cnn.com reporter does not mention how to deal with an 80-yo economic illiterate with a 3 minute attention span.

Trump also thinks ownership lies with people who need to come to him to kiss the ring and beg for favours. We’re not in the MAGA-cult.

Analysis: Trump says he’s ready to talk as new stock market losses fuel tariff chaos | CNN Politics
The big question as global stock selloffs point to another week of plunging markets in the US is how much pain President Donald Trump is prepared to inflict to test his tariff theories.

Eens over samen.

Could this be the right way to respond to Trump’s tariffs?

Instead of going all-in, Europe could use a smart escalation ladder: targeted, transparent, and designed to apply maximum pressure with minimum fallout.

A public escalation ladder preserves leverage. Every step warns what could be next.

Context on tax evasion. Big Tech earns billions from EU ads. Invoices run through Ireland, Luxembourg or Bermuda. EU branches pay “costs” to non-EU branches - for the use of 'software' or 'branding', artificially bringing profit to zero, though earning billions. Effective tax: 0-5%.
April 5, 2025 at 8:44 PM
