questionable human rights. I cannot really find anything interesting in them dominating when they have all the means to do so, and I know every victory is a win for sports-washing. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

The problem with UAE is that there is nothing admirable about what they are doing. They have the richest team, the best rider and has the best team by far because they pay riders that could have been team leaders elsewhere more money. On top of that, their money comes from an oil state with

Let’s not be misogynist, shall we? We get enough of that from men. For your information, Trine and the kids were there too, and they turned the trip into a family holiday with them staying in Japan another week.

That is still not what the ranking is 😂 It is who have accumulated most stage race points during a year, and Jonas is leading that by a good margin.

In fairness, he was sick for half of the Vuelta.

Merckx literally got punched so hard during the 1976 TdF because fans were sick of him, it was even said to have cost him the TdF win.

Merckx is also a convicted doper.

I personally don't think so. This quote was already published by Velo before the press conference stuff came out, and it just seems to be a badly written summary of what he said yesterday.

faith in fair cycling died a little today. Pogacar improving does not rattle me, he was young, and it was to be expected, but it's the fact that he managed to eradicate every weakness over a single winter. The fact that he can peak all year round. The fact that on most stages, not this one, he looks

Jonas did say at the beginning of the year that they were going to do something different this year. Maybe it hasn't worked, and it's back to basics next year.

In fairness, Wout seems to have stopped because of a lack of legs, not anything to do with Jonas. He has not really been himself for the last two Tours, hopefully he can actually be in a position to fight for the win this year, but it doesn't look promising.

He has truly grown so arrogant. I genuinely don't understand what people see in him.
June 14, 2025 at 6:44 PM
Yeah, and he had visible facial injuries and scratches on his helmet and glasses, so it was clear as day that he had hit his head during the crash.

of a concussion, when a teammate reports Jonas was dizzy and seemed a bit confused. It sounds more like Visma was trying to cover up the fact that they had allowed a rider to continue riding with a concussion.

True, I mean I hope that we see him before June.

I don’t want them to, I don’t want to risk a repeat of last year 😭 Also, I think it will be hard to do a last minute change like that. Surely, his training and altitude camps have already been set in stone.
March 19, 2025 at 10:20 AM
He’s not going to Itzulia, right? He’s not scheduled for anything until Dauphine.
March 19, 2025 at 10:15 AM
Jonas will be back at some point. If not next year, then the year after. He has already said he wants to win all the one-week WT races.
March 16, 2025 at 9:34 PM
Also important to note that Jonas saw lightning. He said they couldn't brake properly during the descent.
March 12, 2025 at 4:29 PM
that, because they'd realise how deeply unfair that is.

I have to be honest, this post seems needlessly antagonistic.
March 11, 2025 at 8:47 PM
the podium how it was, even before Jonas ended up in 2nd.

What we don't want to see is Jorgenson winning the GC because he got bonus seconds in two bonus sprints on flat stages. I would hate nothing more than for Jonas to be held back by the team because of 6 seconds.

I don't think they will do
March 11, 2025 at 8:45 PM
I don't really get this post 😅 Most Danish journalists back then wanted Jonas and Primoz to be allowed to fight for the red jersey? It's also not really blaming Primoz, when he admitted himself that he was the one who wanted to fight for the red jersey, and that Sepp and Jonas were cool with keeping
