About 10 yrs ago, I did my best to project for the rest of Bonds's career assuming typical age-related decline after '98. If I recall, I even had him retiring earlier (after like '05 or something). He still ended up like 8th best all time.

No Enterpise ever looked better than the refit in TMP. Evidently one guy spent the better part of 6 months straight painting the model

And I meant for an entire month of September. The final month always narrowed focus to divisional opponents, but never quite like this. The Cards are theoretically a good out of division team for the Giants to face down the stretch given all their playoff history.

It was often kinda like this with the unbalanced schedule, though I'm not sure it was ever literally just 4 teams for an entire month.
