But is Proton email addresses rejected because they are on a blacklist or because they are not on a whitelist? I just don't see a good reason why anybody would single out Proton for exclusion.

Very good and very sad.
February 2, 2026 at 5:51 AM
Why would a Proton email address be blacklisted? That is a weird kind of paranoia.

I have my own email domain but I am still using Google Calendar. I want to switch to Proton Calendar. I have an Android phone but even so the Proton apps seem to offer the same features so I plan to make the move soon.

And that match point winner was a John Isner style ace out wide 😁. I must admit I very much enjoyed seeing the modest Rybakina beat the big-hitting and big-screaming Sabalenka.

It shouldn't be allowed to scream as loud as Sabalenka does on every shot, even the serve. She is even worse than Serena and Sharapova. I watched the highlights with the sound off.

Very good composition.

Oh wow, congratulations! I am originally from Denmark, and handball is covered extensively in the Danish media but I completely missed the news about Iceland reaching the semis.

There is no reason why a professional player shouldn't be able to hit both a one- and two-handed backhand, or even a left-handed forehand. But, as you say, the vast majority of coaches favour the proven formula. We probably won't see another Santoro anytime soon.

Brilliant composition, and the colours blend so well.

Shapovalov has fantastic talent but he is too inconsistent. Dimitrov was in the top 20 not long ago. Then there is Perricard, an unconventional player who is still developing. One of those players might make it at the top level at some point but, yeah, right now none of them can touch Musetti.

That is a fantastic picture! Astonishing scene.

Obama also stood by James Clapper when he lied to Congress about state surveillance. Morally, he is not somebody to admire.

I recently saw a YouTube video where somebody was speculating that the reason why none of the Republicans want to speak out against Trump, even when they are about to retire, is that they don't want to risk the threats and abuse that comes with it. Not sure what Obama has to lose here though.
January 26, 2026 at 1:48 AM
Oh, look, it is another strongly-worded letter by the democratic leadership.
January 26, 2026 at 1:44 AM
It is bland, toothless statements like this that has enabled the Republicans to push things this far. You are well past the point where diplomacy gets you anywhere, and yet Schumer and the Obamas insist on writing 'strongly worded' letters without actually doing anything. It is pathetic to watch.

Once all of this is over I will put my money on Hegseth being the first to go to prison. It should be straightforward to convict him of ordering the killing of dozens of Venezuelan fishermen. And you forgot Leavitt.

Nevertheless, Trump still has an approval rating of almost 40%. That is a lot closer to a majority than to zero, and the two sides hate each other. Imagine what would happen if a civilian in MN shot a handful of ICE people in anger. That could quickly escalate in a country where everybody is armed.
January 25, 2026 at 7:34 PM
"...our core values are increasingly under assault". Oh, what courage that statement shows! Who needs to be afraid of masked thugs with guns when the democratic leadership are aware that the nation's core values are threatened.
January 25, 2026 at 7:14 PM
This is what 4 in 10 Americans are like. You nice guys are still in the majority but not by a lot. The US is now a rogue nation so stop playing innocent. Things would never have got this far if the vast majority of Americans were peace-loving generous people. (view from the EU)

Vague comment from me, sorry. I am a Danish citizen, and I was just trying to point out that since Denmark is a small country we have joined a large military alliance for our protection precisely so that we don't have to defend Greenland and Denmark on our own. What Miller is saying is just BS.

Dude, that is why we are a member of NATO...

It isn't the Nobel committee's business to deal with what happens to the physical prize. If you win the Olympics, you can give your medal to your mother but that doesn't make her an Olympic champion.
