I think I liked this more than Umineko Ep. 1! The pacing wasn’t as slow, the character interactions were endearing, and I was interested to learn about the dam project.

Damn, Simon feels incredible to control in this game! His whip can be swung in multiple directions and I can actually control his movement in midair
There’s still some annoying crap in the final level, but this is still my second favorite sidescroller CV game (behind RoB)

Still holds up really well. It’s simple yet fun and the weapons are fun to use
My only complaint is that at some points the level design felt too much like constantly running around trying to figure out where to go next (this was mostly an issue I had in Episode 3 tho)
