Enjoyable weekend in North Wales activating a couple of small new hills and a classic favourite of mine, a circuit of Snowdon / Yr Wyddfa with Yr Aran and Y Lliwedd for 24 SOTA points in one day. Good DX to Scotland on 2-metres too. 73! #summitsontheair #sota #portableops #hamradio #amateurradio

Stopped at Hegdon Hill (G/WB-023, 255m) this weekend while passing. I’m starting to think these small 1 point hills are harder to activate on 2m than they use to be. Or, maybe I’m getting lazy with my alert planning. #hamradio

Day one of camping trip to Sussex to bag the small Marilyns in the south east. Five different hills for a total of 5 SOTA points. I think 🌲Chanctonbury Ring was my favourite. Quiet ham bands. #amateurradio #hamr

Icy and windy Summits on the Air activation of Fan Gyhirych earlier. Didn’t see anyone else on the hills all day. Bit too fresh to setup a dipole for HF this time but continuing to have success with 70cms.
