I can’t think of another game in recent years that had me SO deeply invested, only to see it absolutely fall apart by the late game. I’d LOVE to see that get a golden style re-release to overhaul a good bit of the game lmao. But as it stands, it’ll probably just slowly fade out of my memory lol

I’d say an actual DS/3DS is still better for those kind of DS games anyway! DS and 3DS games where you aggressively use the touch screen were def made for a hard stylus. Soft tipped stylus just isn’t quite as accurate sadly :(

Threads is REALLY bad now too BUT for existing users. I abandoned my Threads account at the start of this year, but I still get "recommendations" in the instagram feed, and they are ALWAYS toxic right-wing ragebait posts. Baffling. Right now it'll show me people crying about Mamdani loooollll

This is 100000% an issue I found with FFXIV. It has to be the LONELIEST mmo to play solo. LOVED it for the narrative and experience, but yeah, it never quite compared to early days WoW from a social angle. To this day I wish if you local chat, a speech bubble appeared over your head :(
