For the love of God - follow Ro Khanna's lead and call for Schumer to step down. He's not fooling anyone with his "no" vote. He wanted this.

Wait wait wait I noticed something that makes me want to laugh and cry at the same time. The legislative funding bill in particular contained funds for "security enhancements" for members of congress. They're protecting themselves from their own constituents. Make it make sense.

A "minibus" funds a handful of government agencies vs. all at once (it's a play on "omnibus"). The three funding bills attached were for agriculture (SNAP), the military, and OF COURSE for themselves (the legislative branch) and there was funding in there for "increased security due to threats".

YES. I work as a civilian at a law enforcement agency, and it would grind to a halt without us. But LEO's are the ones who get raises year after year.

Question - have any Floridians received so much as an auto-reply from Rick Scott or Ashley Moody? I'm going to start leaving them daily voicemails since they seem to be ignoring their email.

My parents are on Medicare, and when I last spoke to them the day after the inauguration I was told "it won't be that bad." At this point I want Medicare on the line just to wake people UP.
