I’m afraid to admit this, but during CQWW SSB about 7/8 years ago my foot PTT broke. So in the heat of battle, I wired up a straight morse key I had, and used that! #HamRadio

Congratulations on the newborn! Yep, FT8 is definitely the most popular. I remember when my son was newly born, holding him while having my laptop on my knee remotely controlling my shack PC working FT8. Good times

You are forgetting that where a regional secondary locator is used, it must be the correct one. So an MW cannot be in Scotland, and GI cannot be in Wales.
