i forget if i did 201 and 7d on 50% or 100% but basically everything i've done in modded since at least solar clear was on 100% and the only time it was vaguely close to an actual issue was this part

i wanted to prove (to myself and to everyone) that screenshake would still be viable even if it were true that it's mostly impossible to see during shakes (which on 100% it really isn't)

...also it's a hist room so like there's a "what do I do once I win?"

improving at Pump It Up, for which my limit is nowhere in sight

judging by how some 21 or 22 difficulty charts look utterly ridiculous at the moment but I've gotten about 2/3 into a certain endurance 23 before tiring out (and I know my technique isn't the best)

took me a moment to mull over it but my best guess is that it's that the rooms are all way too long and old 7d1d only makes that more so

and if it's that then new 7d1d is going in the right direction because like the longest rooms now have sections missing (2500m-orb is 30 seconds long now)

new 7d1d, on the other hand, is definitely a lot more worth it if you're willing to just treat it as its own thing and not point it out to yourself every time a part of the map is missing

definitely some deliberately crafted gameplay ("a firm understanding of the game's mechanics and entities" includes a *lot* of nuances throughout the length of the map) but it's... certainly about what you'd expect from "7D but every room is GM instead of expert" which may or may not be for you

fair enough, my experience trading for it was that 0m-3 is bad and a lot of the rooms that are hard enough to take over an hour (for a stateless player that ended up taking ~3h30 on flag 02 and ~2h30 on the next two hardest rooms) also get old after you play them for an hour
