42% of the student body at Teesside Uni are international, about 9.5k. I’m sure this will have only positive consequences.

Yeah, when you’ve been able to get a bang average latte from basically every greasy spoon in the country for 15 years it’s probably time to upgrade your caricature

The Greggs my mum worked in started serving lattes nearly 20 years ago. A Greggs! In Teesside! The latte thing always drives me mad as a result

Cost of taking a punt on a seemingly sharp kid is just too high now. For the first time since they opened in 07 & since we became partners in 22 the Christmas temps at my husband’s business are all in their 20s, all with previous experience.

The timidity is so infuriating. They have a diagnosis that the country also believes re investment & continuously duck prosecuting it in any meaningful way.

It gave bi wife energy (complimentary) but the new look is also sharp, evidently sharp enough to attract other hot lawyers. Chalking a win on this one

Was interested where the Biden/Harris admin was going on some of this. Harris’ business start up stuff was pretty milquetoast but when you combine with action on non-compete, health care decoupling, you start to get quite an interesting pro-SME platform

Always wondered how many talented mid-career people don’t take more risks cause they have school-aged kids & losing their insurance is just too big a risk

Listened to a couple of tracks this morning. Harbour’s publicist must be breathing into a paper bag after several Xanax. Who’s Madeleine, indeed…

FiL side of the family is Scouse. First time there, ran out of fags & needed a shop. Otherwise quite sweet auntie replied “oh, go to P*** Roy’s, he’s cheaper than Sainsbury’s” they’ve known “P*** Roy” for 35 years, went to his kids wedding. No one <40 batted an eye. In 2012. A utopia it’s not
