Finished "Tender is the Flesh" on a coworkers recommendation. And it is not an "enjoyable" book. It feels like an old timey freak show. Witness the grotesque, but you are more horrible than what you are calling a freak could ever be.

This Delicious Death by Kayla Cottingham
I feel like this book has the potential to be a great movie one day. Like it's such a short timespan covered and music is so integral to the plot. I think some really neat stuff can be done.

It really just made me realize how tired I am of young adult protagonists especially in science fiction. Marghe being fully an anthropologist with Life experience. Every woman was so different and complex. The world is so alien but the people are so Human
