Finished an #illustration of my new #DnD character, Elowen (on the left), and his deceased lover, Rowan (on the right). Quote is from the Song of Achilles. Their backstory makes me sick (I came up with it, I’m the only one to blame).

Moment of confrontation between Lumix (wood elf) and the queen (high elf) after the paladin of the party died.

Somewhat holding her composure, the queen says, “Lumix. Is this something you need to talk about in private?”

The elf is visibly upset, staring daggers at the queen. A moment passes.

“No,” he replies at last. “Maybe the feelings are getting the best of me. We’ll talk later.”

So, had #DnD last night.

Our paladin died. The elf (1st panel) got upset at the queen (2nd panel) because he has history with the paladin (non-romantic, brothers-in-arms). The moment of confrontation between the queen and the elf was so epic that I had to draw a small comic page.
