Finding hope amidst the flames will take nothing less than community care centering the most vulnerable of us. What of the disabled that cannot evacuate? What of those that don't have second homes or family to go tgo when evacuated? What of the houseless breathing in toxic smoke?

Getting to know people/make friends in adulthood has been fairly inorganic for me. It typically stems out of someone needing or wanting something from me, and we connect more intimately beyond that.
