They can't even spell "liaison" correctly.

Or maybe it's worth $10M and they need to add another $1M/yr to outbid the other guys.

I think they've decided that 1 WAR is worth about $11M.

There is a fun game with this premise, I haven't played it in 30+ years but it looks like it's been updated:

There is so much less waste when you can ship dried product instead of fresh.

Makes sense I don't disagree.

Are all PEDs equal? I think anabolic steroids are worse than HGH or amphetamines, and should be treated accordingly in the policy (but are not). Worse = convey a larger benefit = enable a larger amount of cheating. I still wouldn't vote for Pettite, but I don't think it's entirely equivalent.

"It'd be useful if the price of cherries went down because then he could just pick cherries." Ha! I appreciated it. Stats Nerd Dad joke, higher difficulty rating.

I wonder if teams in full shift (now illegal) managed to do that more often.

Maybe they made the same mistake I made! Yes, it should be slightly faster for the 200m, and I get something like 47.45 secs. For the 1.5 mile, I'd think they were aiming for 14.25 minutes not 14:25 because that's a 9:30 (9.5min) mile pace.

I did the conversion, and yes, that's a 48.0 flat 200m. Funny that they won't use meters for the measurement (too European? Scientific?) But they don't change the actual standard to match the insistence on Imperial measurement.

47.73 seconds is oddly specific.

Geddy Lee, from Rush, said in his memoir that when Rush was a young band starting out, Kiss treated them really well. Kiss just had good decent people who wanted to see their opening bands succeed and put on a good show and did concrete things to make that more likely.

I remember going to a protest March in DC in the early 90s. One member of our group got separated for a few minutes and we never found her again until we got on the bus to go home like 10 hours later.

I once went to a supermarket in Buffalo during one of the Jim Kelly era Super Bowls. Every one of the very few employees had their own television.

The concerning piece about "56% among non-followers" means that a chunk of his effectiveness is dependent on The Algorithm. So, if the people running the social media platform decide to block his posts from being promoted, he's in trouble.
