The American Dream has always been a myth, a myth with a propaganda component. Everything sounds great when mythologized, but rarely are myths based in any actual reality.

Either way, I’m glad someone remembers us. It was a great way to cut my teeth and I couldn’t imagine a better group of guys to play music with at that time. We weren’t popular, but we tried something new.

It was “Acid for Cathy” and there used to be videos, but I don’t know what happened to them.
I’m always flattered that anyone remembers that band, we weren’t popular and we were definitely doing something different at the time.
