my kitchen window over the sink has white cabinets, lit by a high string of rainbow lights and covered in art - wizard of barge tarot cards and my favorite dollar tree Halloween signs. all that stands between me and the blazing sun outside are the landlord's finest mini blinds and three vertical sheets of aluminum foil I've taped over the closed blinds. blocking the window helps so so much with keeping my home cool when the summer sun is beaming directly in and roasting us. in this picture we're closer to the window. I've pulled back one of the foil sheets and opened a little slit in the blinds. you can't tell, because the sunlight is absolutely attacking our eyeballs, white light swallowing up the window and my hand.

I used to wrap Garnet up in a lil blankie and bring her to work for animal seminars. I miss her bad (still living, with a friend). please tell Sabrina I said hi 🐍
Garnet, a hog island boa constrictor. she is a light, creamy grey with sandy saddles down her back, and a lot of little black freckles all over her body. in person she has tints of pink and blue. she's about 5 feet long in the picture, coiled on a wooden deck railing, and she's a very sweet lady.

here we have a little mutt called Stink Bug. Buggie is brown and white, shaved mostly short except for his stylish fur boots, light blue mohawk, and matching blue lion tail. he wears a pink and orange harness and collar, and has a little snaggletooth. he has three little blue and green jewels on each ear. he looks like he would really like the snack I'm holding, please.

#oregon looking absolutely stunning today
you're driving down a rough two lane highway with forest in the distance and open fields on either side; the one on the right is flooded from all the rain. the sky is dramatic, with big, expressive clouds, and most of the picture is dark and moody, grey and silver. a bright blue patch of sky lights up the countryside in the distance, a welcome break in the drizzle. there was hail earlier today, but now the sun fights to win us back.

it's the worst time to be alive yet in my 35 years; things are bleak. but for the first time in my life I'm properly medicated. I feel the best + most capable I have ever felt. reconciling these things is tough, but I guess it means I can be stronger when it counts.
it's overcast and there's a sheep with his head down grazing nearby, in a field of short grass. the sheep is really cool looking, he's white and kinda shaggy with two sets of curvy horns, like Satan I guess. real badass. it's foggy in the distance; you can faintly see the shapes of evergreens. looking at him brings me peace, I hope you feel peaceful today too.

genuinely obsessed with the look of this woman, she is STRIKING
TLDR: an older lady on an episode of 48 hours that I thought looked bad ass and aesthetically interesting long version: the woman in question is in court, sitting up straight in front of a microphone. we see her from the waist up. I would guess that she's in her 60s, and her vibe is serious, dignified, and stern. the shoulderpads in her black blazer are exquisite, making her shoulders broad and angular. she appears to be white, with reddish-brown hair that is very short at her neck and defies gravity into a sort of snow cone shape. her brows are the same color, thin, expertly drawn, and furrowed into a scowl. her lips are pursed. her cheekbones are incredible, her chin is strong and square. the composition of shapes this woman is made up of is truly wonderful, and I'm so sorry I'm not able to paint an adequate picture of her for you. I genuinely love looking at her.

here's an oldie of orange boy Ludo and me for #caturday - I love my silly stinky cat man 💖
it's 2022, and I'm taking a mirror selfie with my cat. Ludo is fluffy and orange, laying across my shoulders. I'm white, in my 30s, ideally of questionable gender. my hair is shaved on the sides, the top longish and combed back and dyed blue. I have a tight beard and I'm wearing a black jacket with the sleeves pushed up, zipped over a fishnet tank top. my bathroom mirror is reflecting all these little speckles that need to be cleaned. it's night time & you are across the street looking up over the parked cars at my illuminated windows. my home is a 2nd floor apartment in a building with 4 units on top and 4 on bottom. there are two windows; the kitchen window is smaller and has a bright neon sign in the shape of a rainbow. the living room window is larger, and across it's entirety spans the image of a big green luna moth surrounded by little pink flowers on a field of black, brightly backlit by the lights inside. to the left of the windows, soft golden string lights wrap around the railing of the balcony. looking at it makes me feel relaxed and comforted, it's cozy and colorful.

my daylio journal entry. it reads: best I can do without adderall is sit on the toilet, stuck, eyes unfocused, brain empty except for the song stuck in my head (it's night of the chainsaw) and the near constant dull roar of urging myself to get up and do something else I think that's why we get stuck on our phones.  it's easy to consume content and move nothing but my thumbs, it feeds my stickiness.  it keeps me content with being suspended in limbo, enabling me to put no effort into switching tasks, rotting gotta get goin
