In the first years of the Third Reich, the Nazis operated ten camps with about 10,000 inmates. Once they managed to crush competing centers of power the concentration camp system exploded. By ‘39 the Nazis were running over 100 concentration camps with some one million inmates. Death camps followed.

What if it’s not mental decline but rather a call to action for people who already stormed the U.S. Capitol, plotted kidnappings, murdered family members, and believed they were saving the world from “satanic”Democrats? Don’t underestimate his skill at playing the role of Messiah to his cult.
