I spent this afternoon with the Helston Library Writing Group, which is the perfect blend of funny/dramatic/dark personalities all composing from writing exercises and drinking tea.

If you've been inspired to run the London Marathon, the ballot for 2026 is open now. Around 850k people enter, so your chance of getting in is roughly 17/850. You may notice this is quite low.
Other options include a charity place, where you'll have to commit to raising £2,000, or another marathon.
