13. Fate/strange fake vol. 3-4

Ended up on a bit of a detour before looping back to strange fake again. I think one of the biggest highlights is reading Narita's comments at the end of each volume. I really do enjoy how they structured the LNs, it's helping a lot with rebuilding my reading habit

I think it was a recent development- their portfolio was really consistent before, but i noticed some sudden shifts in their recent works.... they were still similar to their previous stuff, so I thought it was just rushed requests....I genuinely thought I got sent the wrong files at first

I told my lead and she was immediately like "don't even sweat it, they know better than to expect these back by the 31st" l o l

Apparently one of the people who submitted stuff came by and said to pass along an apology to me because they know what they did sucks

12. 1984

Sci-Fi Author: In my book I invented the Torment Nexus as a cautionary tale.
Tech Company: At long last, we have created the Torment Nexus from classic sci-fi novel Don't Create The Torment Nexus.

Struggled a little to finish this one because of the weight of comparison.

11. Throne of Glass

Reading it on a coworkers suggestion, definitely has parts where you're just. Kind of reminded this is defintely a YA novel. Coworker told me the author wrote this when she was roughly 16, so that does explain a bit. Will probably check out another book or two in the series.

10. Mr. Queen

Honestly, I feel like this drama was 1000% carried by the strength of its cast- the female leads were all incredible and I think I wouldn't have enjoyed this series as much if it weren't for their performances.

9. When Life Gives You Tangerines

One of the most fascinating parts of this kdrama was getting to see a brief glimpse of what Korea would have been like when my mom was still living there. In the end, I cried way more than I expected.
