Yesterday Marked 271 years since the 1751 Gin Act. An act that restricted Gin distilation in the UK, The goverment also commisioned early propaganda in the form of Hogarth's "Gin Lane".
The Gin Act stood until 2008 where it was then repealed eginting the Current Gin Craze
