This ruined ski resort is one of a couple little scenes I painted for Gone to Gaia. It'll be displayed in segments on a card, at a pretty small size, so there wasn't as much concern about polishing it up as there usually is. I really wanted it to look eerie, but also exciting and beautiful 💜

Sponge anteater for gone to Gaia! I added the little baby on its tail because I thought it would be cute, but now I'm realizing that the players fight the anteater so it might be sad, actually 😅

I think I forgot to post about it here, but! I got an axolotl! Meet Goober--I got them about three months ago, and I'm pretty sure they're the cutest thing ever (I'm 100% unbiased of course)

Just a lil guy. Very friendly, probably safe to pet, definitely won't bite you when you get close.

Some more sketches for Gone to Gaia critters! I ended up spending some time looking at manta ray mouths for this one, and I'm more convinced than ever that the ocean is stranger than anything the human brain could come up with 😅

Another monster design for Gone to Gaia! This one started off way different than where it ended up--it was originally a Venus flytrap type thing, but the squid concept got added in after a couple revisions and I'm so much happier with it (and the sculpt looks killer too!)

I was walking behind a guy wearing these at the zoo today, and it took me a solid ten minutes to realize it wasn't a funny parody sex thing, and that his shirt was just covering the word "don't"

Some concept work for what Gaia (for Gone to Gaia) would actually look like! We knew it needed to be big and floaty, but nailing it down beyond that took some exploration.

I came back from GenCon to find that my tomatoes are finally ripe! I was able to make a caprese salad with basil and tomatoes that I grew myself, which might not seem like much, but I've never even grown a houseplant before this--I'm so excited 😅

Two sketches exploring where Gone to Gaia's jellyfish monster could go! We ended up choosing option A. The component its going to be printed on is small enough there's a chance we might just roll with the sketch as is (but I'm hoping there's time to do touch ups before it goes to print 😅).
