Whenever my coworkers get too worked up over silly things like reports and emails at work, I have started hitting them with the "Okay, calm down. No one in this situation is dying. Except maybe me, but that's because of the cancer, not the reports being late."

Being triple booked with the port placement, endoscopy/colonoscopy, then chemo round 1 last week probably didn't do the port incisions any favors.
But the scheduling people all said it would be fine. I guess it wasn't.
