If you pick any distro, highly recommend CachyOS. It is the golden standard for people switching from Windows and it is the closest thing to a competent gaming-friendly OS that isn't entirely designed around it like Bazzite or SteamOS.

My whole dilemma is being nostalgic to an era of my life (late 2000s, early 2010s) where most of the art I liked was primarily an escapist refuge for me to not lose my shit, so you can imagine how complicated my feelings are now that I'm not in that headspace anymore lmao.

There was a period of time (post-WP, pre-NYT, mostly when he wrote for Vox) where I believed Ezra was doing solid work but the shit he says these days... I think he's too busy doing centrist triangulation instead of expressing what he actually believes.

The restoration projects people have been doing on old iPods and Zunes on YouTube have been picking up a lot of traction and I can't fault anyone for it. These things are incredible.
