Well exactly. The noble indigenous peoples of wherever probably didn't have to be in the office twenty minutes after completing the nursery drop off.

Our two year old has started just throwing himself to the floor when he's bored of walking (regardless of location) so until that's over the buggy stays with us at all times.

I refuse to be shamed by this.

We were moving away from the buggy but now the boy is in a phase of just throwing himself to the floor when he gets bored of walking (regardless of location, which is horrifying when he does it on the pavement or the piss-stinking stairwell of our block) so now it remains with me at all times.

Untarnished for the character but not for the audience, which adds an interesting extra layer.
