Much like the people who confused me in my youth by telling me "musicals are so unrealistic - no one goes around breaking into song all the time" were wrong, people who say "no one talks like that" are wrong. :)

Fair point. I used the word "pedestal" only thinking of how we as a culture often view celebrities as something special, but you're absolutely correct that not sexually abusing people should be a basic standard of human behavior for everyone.

Excellent points. Putting people on a pedestal seems like it rarely ends well - for them or those who put them there.
