We drove, picked the apples, drank the beer, had lunch, stopped for ice cream and then picked up fresh donuts before returning home.

I received a number of very thoughtful gifts from school families today. Amongst them was a new tumbler along with a card containing cash - very generous. The card was hilarious but I only just now notice a little note inside the tumbler

I spent all day Saturday at the beach and didn’t realize until late in the day that the air quality was subpar. It was a beautiful (albeit hot) day but I could feel the elevated congestion in my lungs as I was packing up and heading home.

Recital number 29 is a wrap! I’m so proud of all of my dancers. Everyone worked so hard and did such an amazing performance this year!

Two nights ago, I heard a baby deer calling to its mother. Yesterday, my neighbor spotted a fawn in my yard and by this morning it wound up in my window well. Hoping mom can rescue it without having to intervene. Apparently it has a twin, based on info from another neighbor.
