Today’s pairing features the same cheese+crackers as yesterday but with a much more knitting-friendly New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc that still tastes good even after being opened a few days ago. Unfortunately I didn’t get to go to NZ myself to pick it out but rather down the highway to Costco again🧶🍷

Hand knits and crochet on the tree 🎄
The tiny mitten and little tree were knit by my grandmother, and the crochet heart was a gift from a member of my first knit group back in Maine (circa 1990?).

It’s cold out, so time for a warmer sweater. I loved knitting this one since you only have to cable every tenth round—plus, it’s a nice fit. Not too oversized for a drop shoulder.

Trigger Warning: Taking scissors to your #knitting is not recommended unless you’re a little wackypants (like me) and EXTREMELY sure that you’ve properly secured the sts above the cut. I was but it was still stressful!
